REVIEW: Wangskin Lip Tattoo Pen

By Unknown - 23.58

Peel off makeup is all the rage last year and I have yet to try them, so I’m very excited to receive this product and put it to the test!

What I’m trying out today is a Lip Tattoo Pen from Wangskin color Lovely Pink. They have 2 other colors which are Charm & Sexy Red and Fresh Orange.

The product comes in a tube packaging with a slanted applicator. It was fairly easy to apply and the product does not move around even if you apply a second layer to make sure that it coats your lips perfectly.

The instruction is to wait 15-20 minutes but if you want a more vibrant color then you can definitely wait a bit longer and vice versa if you want a lighter pigmentation.

After around 5 minutes the product has completely dried off so it won’t make a huge mess.
I recommend using this product after you apply your foundation then clean up your lips with a makeup towel or remover continuing your beauty routine while it’s doing its thing.

It is important that your lips are clean in order for the tint to work properly. If you use lip balm underneath it then the oils will just mess around with the tinting process and you won’t get a long lasting pigmentation because of it.

Removing it after 15 minutes. It was easy and it comes off in one piece.
After 15 minutes I pull off the product from the edge of my lips and it comes off easily in one piece.
I went about my day as per usual: eating, drinking, etc. I ate Aglio Olio and fried rice throughout the day and the tint stays put for more than 12 hours and I bet it will stay put if I hadn't remove it at night! It is water proof as well. It was amazing and I would highly recommend this product if you are travelling or if you hate touch ups (who doesn’t?).

By no means that this product is hydrating as it is claimed to be but I have nothing against it since what I’m looking for in a peel of makeup is its long lasting property. So I applied lip balm though out the day on top of it just to keep my lips hydrated.

At the end of the day, I use an oil based makeup remover to remove the tint. It is harder to remove it in comparison to other tints or matte lipsticks but I don’t mind hassle since it was not much of a difference anyway. Overall, I would use this Wangsking Lip Tattoo Pen again on a busy day or on vacations.
