Last week was a super exciting and meaningful weekend for me. Wanna know the reason?

YUP! Last week was the first ever Beauty Fest Asia 2017! Did you had the chance to go there as well? If not, then no worries, I’m here to share bits and pieces of the whole event! Come share this moment together with me and my sister as we meet global and regional influencers who are not only super pretty and kind but are all very inspiring.

To be honest, I was super excited to meet JENN IM and STEPHANIE! But oh boy, I can truly say that all the other influencers are “influencers” for a reason. They share their stories and I can see how passionate they are in what they’re doing.

Meeting Tina Yong while vlogging <3

So the highlight of day 1 might be meeting TINA YONG accidentally while browsing through the booths. I was expecting to meet Tina on the 2^nd day of Beautyfest but while I was vlogging, she was walking RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Of course I was super flustered and ended my vlog without thinking -.- but I had the chance to take pictures and talk to her for a bit. She is the sweetest and super fun to be around with. Love you TINA!!!

Meet & Greet with Pearypie

The meet & greets was nice but it sort of feels like an assembly line where tons of people line up and are given a short period of time to say hi and take pictures then off you go… I was really expecting to “talk” to Jenn Im and Stephanie but I can’t really do that when there are a hundred of people behind me waiting to meet them as well. Same thing as to what happened to the Meet & Greet with Pearypie… Meeting them on their spare time gives us the chance to really show our love for them and for them to show their love back to use without being in a rush!

I can say that the most inspiring talk show might be from Pearypie. She was so excited telling her stories and the MC didn’t even need to ask any more questions! She shared her first experience doing makeup for London Fashion Week and how that was her stepping stone to be recognized by talented MUAs. Setting small goals and never be afraid to make mistakes was her advice to all people who are striving for success. So for those of you out there who are trying to reach your dreams, start believing yourself and take small steps to reach your final destination. Because dreams WILL be a reality when you have the will and passion to make it happen!

The Gala Show was the last event for today. There are 15 awards given to regional influencers as well as local brands recognizing various categories in the beauty industry. Malik & The Essentials as well as Soundwave performed amazing performances which keeps the audience awake at such late hours. All in all, day one was truly inspiring and I learned a lot just from watching, not only from influencers, but also from new friends I met in this event.

My sister and I was sort of late today. The event started at 12pm while we arrived there at around 3pm. We strolled around the booths to find out what promotions the brands offered while keeping our eyes out for influencers strolling around.

The highlight of today was meeting Tina Yong AGAIN on her beauty class. Since this is the last section, we got the chance to talk and spend more time with Tina. At the end she shared her advice for all of you guys who wanted to start blogging, vlogging, or any other hobbies that you might have to just START and CONTINUE to do it. Stop making excuses and just start! It’s okay not to be perfect at first but you will definitely get better as you continue and be consistent doing it.

I truly hope this blog and video can inspire you guys out there to start pursuing your dreams. Be better and continue to grow each day.
