Dear my K-beauty junkies out there,

Innisfree has officially opened their first store in Indonesia! I'm super excited to hear the news and they did not just opened one store, but two; one at Central Park Mall and the other at Senayan City.

I got the chance to experience the pre launch gathering and influencer shopping day before they officially opened.

PRE LAUNCH GATHERING EVENT

The gathering was mainly aimed to introduce the brand as well as Innisfree's most raved product: The Green Tea Seed Serum. This serum is a 'booster' serum which means that it is used first before any product to improve our skin's absorbance ability therefore any product we use after will be much more effective since all the good ingredients will better seep into the skin. We got the chance to try to whole Fresh and Moisturising Green Tea line while the brand representative talked through the whole skincare process.

After trying out the Green Tea Line, beauty influencers Sasyachi and Michimomo did a Korean style makeup demo on..... *drum roll* ME! It was such an honor to be their model and to try Innisfree's Longwear cushion (reviews will be up soon on the blog) as well as other Innisfree's makeup products.


The gathering event was so much fun as I've met new friends and learn soo much about Innisfree as a brand and their integrity to promote not only their products, but for us to find out what's best for our skin.

PRE OPENING INFLUENCER SHOPPING DAY

A day before the official launching date, Innisfree invited several Indonesian beauty influencers to experience shopping and the new VR Technology at Innisfree Indonesia. The VR Technology at Innisfree is truly the perfect combination of technology and beauty; the two industries that are most dynamic and strive for continuous innovations. You can experience exploring Jeju Island and see where Innisfree got their natural ingredients from. Another story line option is to explore Jeju Island WITH Lee Min Ho!!! Ummmm... is this a super effective marketing strategy or what? If you're not familiar with the VR Technology, it mainly aims for us to feel like we are in the movie by having a 360 degree camera view. So imagine driving a car with Lee Min Ho, looking up close at his face, and holding hands with him. If you're a Lee Min Ho fan then this is a must visit for you!

Other than the VR Tech, the overall placement of products are very neat and structured so it was very easy for me to find the products that I need. They have clear labels for specific skin concerns and group together products for those issues. Their makeup sections are also grouped together by types of products such as lip products, cushions, eye  shadows, blush, etc.

Another super fun thing to do at Innisfree is purchasing a cushion! You might be thinking, why would buying a cushion at Innisfree be any different than other makeup stores? Here's the answer: you can choose the type of cushion formula you want, the puff, and the SUPER DUPER ULTRA CUTE CUSHION CASE!!!



First they lure you in to experience dating with Lee Min Ho and then without you realizing you'll be buying 5 cushion cases just because you can't decide what you want. It's a super effective marketing strategy I have to say 💖

At the end of the day I was super impressed with how Innisfree has strategized to enter the Indonesian market. Not only that their products are super high quality (there will be a haul video coming soon!) but they have also set themselves apart by having such an interactive store! You guys who visit the store will have such a fun time exploring your skin's condition and how to make them better with the help of trained floor staff who are super nice.
