Valentine's Day Lookbook 2017

By Unknown - 15.26

To my dearest friend,

Could not believe how fast time is passing by! I feel like 2017 is like a runner on steroids!

With Valentine's day right around the corner, I've prepared for you 5 different outfits to impress your loved ones! Whether you're going out on a date or just watching TV at home, I got you covered.

These 5 outfits are very different to one another so I hope there's one that suits your style and/or occasion. I'll try to put the links where you can purchase these items; however, some of the products I used are no longer available to be purchased so I've tried my best to find an alternative for you.

Shout-out to my sister who did this Look-book's makeup and also became my one-day photographer!

Without any further ado, let's get started!

1. Sporty Babe

This is the outfit for you if you're going for that sporty-yet-cute style. This bomber jacket is reversible (yes!) and gives off the sporty vibe; while at the same time this A line skirt hugs your waist perfectly to give you that S-line figure. Then I finish everything off with a pair of pink slip-on for extra comfort.

Reversible Jacket: Metallic Pink / Silver
What I use:
1. Outer: Stradivarius
2. Grey Tank Top : Kookai
3. Skirt : H&M // Alternative : H&M
4. Shoes : COS // Alternative : Steve Madden
5. Bag : ASOS // Alternative: Jessica McClintock

2. Preppy Romance

If you're aiming for that girly look this Valentine's day then this is the outfit for you. I've paired a champagne glitter off-the-shoulder top with a checkered pencil skirt. This skirt has a detachable matching suspenders which adds on to this preppy look. For shoes, I keep it simple with a black high heels from Charles & Keith.

What I wear:
1. Top : Colorbox // Alternative : Forever 21
2. Skirt : House of Holland // Alternative : Superdry
3. Shoes : Charles & Keith // Alternative : ASOS
4. Choker : Forever 21
5. Bow Ring : Livingroom // Alternative : Bling Jewelry

3. Daring Elegance

If you want to be different this year and avoid wearing pink for Valentine's day, then this monochromatic look is perfect for you! This outfit exudes elegance with a slight sexiness from the slit trousers. To give this outfit a little "umph" I paired it with a leopard bucket bag from Mango.

What I wear:
1. Shirt : Simplicity // Alternative : Equipment
2. Trousers : Colorbox // Alternative : Akira
3. Shoes : Charles & Keith // Alternative : ASOS
4. Bag : Mango // Alternative : Massimo Dutti
5. Earrings : H&M // Alternative : Katie Kime

4. Valentine and Chill

If you're planning to stay home or just hang out with friends while playing video games for Valentine's day but still wanna look cute, then go for this look. The over-sized knit sweater is so comfortable yet sexy which compliments the black legging to balance the whole look. The black legging has "Afraid of Nothing" written at the side which creates an illusion of a longer torso. To accessorize, I put on this choker set from Zara.

What I wear:
1. Knit Sweater : H&M
2. Legging : H&M
3. Shoes : COS // Alternative : Steve Madden
4. Bag : ASOS // Alternative: Jessica McClintock
5. Chokers : ZARA // Alternative : ASOS

5. Floral Dream

This outfit is my favorite out of the bunch! This style is perfect for you, artistic souls, or if you just want to try something different and edgy this Valentine's day. I got this Lacey Outerwear from Forever 21 on a sale! On the inside I keep it simple and cute with a pleated pink top and white shorts. Because I feel like this look can be a bit too "pink", I added a black buckle belt from Topshop to contrast everything out. If you really wanna go out there, then I suggest wearing a floral headpiece to give off a rustic and romantic feel. For the bag, I go with this silver Playnomore clutch.

What I wear:
1. Outer : Forever 21 // Black Alternative : Forever 21
2. Pleated Top : H&M
3. Pants : ebase // Alternative : Missguided
4. Shoes : COS // Alternative : Steve Madden
5. Bag : Playnomore
6. Ring : ZARA
7. Belt : Topshop // Alternative : ASOS
8. Headpiece : Lovisa // Alternative : Forever 21
